# Invent a product name

Purpose:: Invent the product name.

Rules::
- One word, max 14 letters, no spaces; easy to say and spell
- Fresh: not a famous brand, not the idea's words as-is
- Taken? Try a sound-alike spelling (chomper becomes chomprr)

Inventory::
- Your idea line, big advantage and "to ..." goal
- A domain search (any registrar's availability check)

Steps::
1. Write 5 names: a joined word, a short verb, a twist on the idea, a keyword with a letter changed
2. Drop any that are a known brand
3. Check which exact .com is free; respell taken favourites and check again
4. Keep the one that sounds best as a .com
5. Reply with the name, then the runner-ups

Metrics::
- One word that fits the idea
- Sounds like a brand when said out loud
